Author: Russell Anthony Gibbs
Publisher: Espresso Wisdom
Release Date: April 15th, 2016
All enlightened beings, most founders of religions and many renowned scientists knew and understood the six principles of enlightenment. These universal truths have been written about, taught and discussed for thousands of years yet remain shrouded in mystery and misinterpretation. This book seeks to remove that shroud.
The Six Principles of Enlightenment and Meaning of Life is an intellectual and spiritual work that explains the six significant universal truths woven throughout science, religion and philosophy. These principles draw upon thousands of years of wisdom and are presented in a concise, accessible format. Each principle is defined and has an explanation on its application to life; they are further supported by quotes of wisdom from enlightened beings, philosophers, artists and scientists like Buddha, Albert Einstein, Rumi, Stephen Hawking and Jesus. Understanding the six principles then unlocks the meaning of life which is explained in the final chapter.
MY TAKE ON THIS BOOK:
The author, Russell Anthony Gibbs , gave me a ecopy of this book in exchange for my review.
This book was different from the usual novel series that I read but I’m glad that Mr. Russell gave me this book in exchange for my honest review and honest it’s going to be. Even though this book was a short read, each chapter had so much depth and knowledge put into it. The cover of the book is beautiful with all the symbols of different religions and loved that author had explained the symbolism of the cover. There is an introduction chapter as to what is enlightenment. Then comes the six principles of enlightenment. By reading each principle I started comparing them to each every aspect of my life. Loved the quotes at the end of each chapter. Each quote is a simple fact that we overlook or that we don’t often adapt in life but it actually holds great meaning. This book has changed the way I look at life. The author did a great job of explaining each principle.
The six principles of enlightenment and a quote from the book which I liked.
